Founded in 2019, Jenny is once again taking a departure from corporate america and high tech to relaunch #saltybungalows, while creating the BUTTERFLY BRAND; a group of complimentary yet unique organizations that will offer lifestyle solutions and align with charitable values. Among them is Butterfly Blvd which evolved from Salty Bungalows, a company co-founded with her ex-husband in 2014. Moving forward, our unique stylistic approach will create spaces that soothe your soul and offer opportunities to relax, recharge, and rewire your brain. No slowing down in sight, the team is taking the new and improved #saltybungalows to new heights. Dr. Wetstein is a world renowned Thoracic Surgeon who is also a retired Colonel in the United States Air force. While still practicing in New Jersey, he is slowing down and spending more time traveling the world advocating for peace and sitting on many non-profit and philanthropic organizations. As he approaches retirement, he hopes to spend more time with his family in Fort Lauderdale where the butterfly bungalows brand expects to grow their portfolio of boutique bungalows. A forward thinker, Dr. Wetstein will spearhead most of our companies charity events and non-profit out reach.

Katy brings more than 22 years of hospitality experience to her new role with us. Most recently, she was appointed to Vice President of Sales for Preferred Hotels, and previously led Global Sales at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, directing and leading the company’s strategy and sales initiatives in the Insurance and Financial segment for 1,300 hotels worldwide. During her tenure with Starwood, she also served on the pre-opening sales teams for the former Westin Diplomat, St. Regis Fort Lauderdale, and W South Beach. Based in Washington, D.C., Katy is actively involved in industry associations and has held various leadership positions such as her appointment to the FICP Hospitality Board from 2010 to 2013 and LIMRA Hospitality Advisory Board from 2010-2017. She holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Florida.
While her role keeps her extremely busy, when time permits Katy has been a sounding board to Jenny and has proven to become a positive asset to the company.

Senior merchant with a vast array of experience combining industry expertise, customer insight, and analytics in the development of profitable merchandise strategies. Expert in successfully developing and implementing new branding and merchandising techniques, improving revenue streams and profitability by focusing on customer retention and by defining and attracting new customer markets. Proficient at driving execution through cross-functional partnerships and developed new seasonal strategies focused on high growth areas for each of the segments. A proven merchandising professional, with a results oriented attitude and a hands-on management style, that will bring almost immediate results to an organization.
Director of Operations and On-Boarding/ Board of Directors Advisers
With 5 years experience in drafting and enforcing the Vacation Rental administration for the City of Fort Lauderdale, Will Snyder is the ideal candidate for bringing prospective Vacation Rental properties up to state and municipal standards. A Fort Lauderdale native and military veteran, Will’s main focus is on operational organization and labor efficiency. Formerly a Code Officer for the City of Fort Lauderdale’s Code Compliance division, Will was the de facto leading expert on property inspections. His approach to inspections garnered him a reputation as being fair and personable to many property managers within the city. After observing the confusing process surrounding vacation rental registration, he saw an opportunity to move into the private sector with the goal of reducing the time spent registering properties for owners and managers. Will brings unparalleled attention to detail to his work that will be immediately recognized by clients and vacationing guests to the city of Fort Lauderdale.
